locating problem with ipod

ive recently downloaded an album and wanted to add it to my ipod.

after synchronising my ipod, i discovered, that the band wasnt listet under artists, though the album is listed under albums and the songs are listed under songs.

the files are ofcourse all mp3's.


any ideas, why my ipod recognizes the album, but doesnt list the band under the artist section?

ive allready checked the information in itunes (in itunes its listed under artists, btw) and everything seems to be in order.

My sister had a similar problem to this.

Have you tried right clicking on one of the mp3's, clicking properties, and checking that the details under the "DETAILS" tab are all correct.

It may be that the "Title" contains the song title & artist name, but the "details" for artist is empty.

I've noticed this with a few tracks I've downloaded from "djdownload.com", it's a pain in the arse sorting it out, but nothing major.

just checked, but its all in order.

i think its more a itunes problem, but since i cant find any difference between these songs and those, who are displayed correctly, im kinda clueless.
