X-Fire setup guide.

Well Matt got some problems with xfire, so i think this guide helps to him and to other m8s.

Start your X-Fire and go to "Tools" > "Options"

#1. Select "General" and click "Advanced" tab. Now you can disable Game detection at startup and automatically launch at windows startup.

#2. Select "Files" and disable "Automatic download patches" (useless future imo and i dont like when some 3rd-party app install files).

#3. Select "Video" and disable "Video capture", same as all video capture app xfire cause dramatic fps drops and cause lag if you play online.

#4. Select "Broadcast" and disable "Enable Broadcast", that is future where you can broadcasting your game in live stream.

#5. Select "Games" and set to "Never Detect" for games where you not need xfire (teamspeak, windows media player and other stuff is also detected as games, that is funny bug imo) :)

xfie is very much like steam . heres why u need xfire , some steam games dont use steam servers like we do on css and valve games even though you have bought them from steam they may use gamespy or windows live and so on . so you will have the problem of how to join your steam freinds server were there playing .. xfire can detect a great catoluge of games and will scan your system a dedect your games on your pc even your steam games . . so now u can game with your buddys , you also get a pretty decent profile page were ur recored in game vids or snap shots can be desplayed its is very kool ..dont tell anybody but it is better than steam in ways .

OH i will just say this, { evrything in battlefeild and punk buster is update but i keep getting kicked it was ok last time i played } well ive come accross this problem last time i played and i found if i validated the game in steam verify files that 1 or 2 files seamed to of got error or missing or what ever , steam just qickly downloads you the file and replaces them and youl find that you wont get kicked ..its funny cos i had to validate verify the files before evryday when i played and it was allways those to files or 1 and that was the reson it was kicking me as my punkbuster was up to date, so if u find your all up to date but getting kicked still , try verify your files before evry play to make sure the game files are up todate also .
