Mister 9 Fps!

Good evening guys,

i need your help, brothers. I have got a problem with my graphiccard, at least i think its the graphiccard.
My toshiba-laptop has:

-Microsoft Windows XP Professional with SP 3, but i upgradet my system with the "vistamizer" so i made xp into vista

-AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Prozessor 795 MHZ

-3 Gigabyte Ram

-230 Gig hard drive

-Graphiccard: Ati Mobility radeon hd 2400

Amok has got an ati mobility radeon hd 2300 and he told me he got 100 fps, me with my Ati Mobility radeon hd 2400 cant get more then 20 -.- when people rush or smoke spots it even drops to 10 or 9 -.-

Is the cooling of the laptop to bad? Which driver do i need to use? the one for xp or vista? is the graphiccard to bad?

1. You need ATi HD 2400 driver for Windows XP. You can DL it at your laptop manufacturer page:

2. Update your DirectX to latest version:

3. To run ATi Catalyst Center you need install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later:

Well first install .NET Framework, next ATi drivers, and at end update DirectX thats all folk :) Enjoi

i understand hmm thanks a lot Vlad.
I just need to get directX from somewhere else because i got a fake/cracked windows version and they want to check my system xD not good :D

DONT DOWNLOAD FROM CRAP SITES M8 (if you need zoo (spyware, troyans) on your pc do it).

at least it didnt help me
what i done :) i tooke my vacum cleaner and vaced :) my radiators output was full of dust so the laptop was overheating straight away after few minutes of playing any game
there is big prob with vista and laptops thats y microsoft rush so badly with windows 7
